Anna University was established on 4th September 1978 as a unitary type of University. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology and allied Sciences that are relevant to the current needs of the society. Besides promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained there from, it fosters cooperation between the academic and industrial communities.
Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) was started in 1949, by Shri. C. Rajam with a vision to provide strong technical base in various engineering disciplines for Independent India to compete at par with the International Community. Merged with Anna University in the year 1978, MIT has played an important role in the growth and development of many sectors in the country by introducing several new specializations in the field of engineering. The institute is a part of the Anna University and is known for producing eminent scientists like Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam, and Dr. K Sivan. As a part of Commemorating the 75th year since the establishment of the institute, the conference aims to bring leading academicians and researchers to submit their original contributions in Advance Computing and information technology, complex and critical problems in engineering and technology.
The Department of Computer Technology at the Madras Institute of Technology Campus of Anna University, Chennai was established in the year 2010. The department offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. The department has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities that help students and research scholars to acquire knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the rapidly evolving technology. The faculty members are experienced and dedicated to provide quality education, while enabling students to undertake research and development work. The department has global collaborations with industries, research organizations, and academic institutions, providing students with opportunities to gain practical experience and exposure to diverse perspectives.
